Six Simple Steps To Great Logs

1.  Write each number neatly inside the box. Don't touch or cross the blue boxes. Leave the unused boxes blank; don't fill them with zeroes or cross them out.

2.  When writing your totals, the hours always go in the first two boxes. Use .25, .50 and .75 to show partial hours. Never darken in the light-blue decimal point on the totals.

3.  Be neat on the log grids, and draw your lines near the center of the row. Don't draw anything but the line on the grid--this includes mileages, notes or your initials.

4.  Leave unused areas on your log blank rather than writing "N/A" or "None".

5.  Leave the "Off Duty Days" boxes blank. You should only use them when you want to put multiple off-duty days on a single Log. For example, if you were off six days from June 5 to June 10, you would date the log June 5, then put the number 6 in the off-duty days field.

6.  Only wirte the ID number assigned by your company in the space provided; no truck, shipping document or other numbers! Leave unused boxes blank.
